In
honor of Women’s History Month, SBA will host a Twitter chat to help women
entrepreneurs and small business owners start and grow a business. Today, women
are starting businesses at a higher rate than ever before and are among the fastest-growing businesses in
America. They also generate $1.2 trillion in revenues and employ 7.6 million
people (according to the National Women’s
Business Council). However, women continue to face barriers to
entry- access to capital, discrimination, language barriers, and balancing life
and work.
SBA
along with Microsoft, SCORE, Maple Street Denim, Marion and Rose's
Workshop, National Association of Women in Real Estate Businesses,
Google, National Women Business Owners Corporation, Square, The UPS Store,
Women’s Economic Ventures and Women Impacting Public Policy will provide
resources and tips to help women succeed in business. Check out the details
below and learn how you can participate.
